head gasket? with video

Okay, so got my project going one new coolant/oil line and had the shop tighten everthing up. shop said head gasket or cracked head. Oil isnt milky and it gets up to 120°C before I pull over. And this is what happened

if its a new head shop quoted me at 2k...
I feel like I could get a salvaged e36 M3 with good motor/trans/rear end and do the swap myself for under that

Just updated the link! Sorry about that! And thanks for that tip!! Ill take it into my auto tech class tomorrow and see if I can test it

that looks like a leak to me, not so much a blown hg....

there is a plastic pipe that goes along the block under the intake, as well as a fitting @ the back of the motor. can't remember if it is on the head or the block....think the head. real oem would have a diagram of all of the related cooling pipes and hoses.

there are quite a few areas that could be the culprit. a pressure test would show where the leak is.

Okay, so back when I was having trouble houldung coolant i took apart the intake manifold to get to the line. (oil and coolant((runs to back of block)) and reused the gaskets... so i ordered new ones and as i was putting them on took a look and found this. would this have anything to do with my overheating issue? I know normally oil doesn't have much to do with it and my oil isn't milky but here are the pics

You either have a busted "Y" fitting on the back of the cylinder head or a cracked flange going in or out of your heater core on the firewall. Either way, you WILL have a blown headgasket or cracked head very soon if you keep letting it overheat like that. Make sure you follow up with a PROPER bleed after you replace whatever is broken:

Alright Thanks! Got the upper part of the intake msnifold off yesterday. So now it looks like I have to take off fuel rail/injectors then where the intake manifold mounts to the block to get down to that piece.
