Default kiwi intro for me and my 1998 318ti

Hi. So a couple weeks ago i found myself needing a new car, (the engine stopped turning in my old one), and was lucky enough to find myself on the receiving end of my new (for me) 318ti. I was a bit sceptical at first. I'd heard the rumors concerning reliability and maintenance, and while i haven't discounted them i have at least got a better feel for whats urban myth and whats normal running for these. So, i bought it. Low kms, great looks, sits on the road so freakin well, cockpit (?) fits me well, good fuel economy and just all round suits me.

Never owned a nice car before really. Always had trash cars or cars that were "practical family car" types. this one?? is just a bit different and is a pleasure to drive.

Alright, intro done,

catch ya,
Phil.

Beautiful car! Keep all cooling system parts in shape including the two plastic water pipes and you will be fine. John

lol absolutley thanks John. Already had a good nosey around in there, but i expect to get a reasonable amount more of running out of them yet. Its sitting at 84000km (50000 mile?).

But yes, clean, tidy and well/regularly maintained are the catch phrases i think.

cheers folks.
