Don't care if they're steelies or stock or aftermarket but I would like some decent tread on the tires. Prefer studded but non works as well. I bought a set last year locally from a Firestone Complete Auto Care store and they will swap your tires in the spring and fall for free for the first three years (or maybe that was the first three swaps). Not sure if all the stores do that or just the one I went to. Without shipping from TireRack, 205/60-15 WS-60's run $85 per tire, 205/55-16 are $107. They'll probably run you a little more at a local store. If that's too expensive, I'd suggest checking out your local Craigslist site. I did that last fall and saw plenty of winter tires, but nothing that would fit my car. One other bit of advice is get a sandbag or two to put in the hatch area. In January I had to take my two sand bags out (140lbs) when I went on vacation (needed to fit luggage for 3 in the hatch), and I noticed there wasn't quite as much traction as when I had the sand in there. Still wasn't bad and I never got stuck.
