The previous owner installed really crappy angel eye uni-body cheapos and they MUST go. Which way to go? DEPO, APEXCONE. HELLA? OEM? Function over form and definitely over $$$. But...gotta have some style. Looking for a solid solution. Thanks! | | | 05-20-2010, 03:05 AM | #2 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Depo. Apexcone was made by DDM. DJ auto is not affiliated with DDM, they just sell them. But yes the Apexcone were poor quality. Your only two choices are DJ auto and Depo. Anything else is too exspensive(HELLA) or too cheap(Ebay). | | | 05-20-2010, 05:49 PM | #5 | Member Join Date: Feb 2009 Location: Florida - Tampa Posts: 92 | Where to buy? The housings are way thicker and just a solid unit all together over Dj Auto. The only reason Dj auto's sell is becuase they are very low priced and they have the full halo marketing ploy. ccfl or led AE's?, I really dont see the diff..But i went with an LED... If you can afford it, get ZKW's. I suggest DDM. Just my 2cents. good luck. edit: Actually, I correct myself...LED AE's will have a longer life(more hrs.) and are said to be brighter! __________________ 1998'SportR.I.P. 1995 Sport AlpineIII Last edited by Mr. Crow; 05-21-2010 at 01:32 AM. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
