By null at 2012-06-27 I want to install my satelite radio in there and need a couple so I can experiment with cutting and fitting. I also need instructions on how to get sumbitch out. I tried to get my good one out last weekend and it felt like I was gonna break somthing. To remove the trip computer, there is a release snap located on the underside which can be reached through a hole above the little shelf. Press that in and you can slide the computer out, disconnect it, and then remove the console piece. This DIY is for adding a start button, but the first section shows how to remove the OBC/Console. http://www.bimmerdiy.com/diy/e36startbutton/ Good Luck! __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. Then I recalled that he owns a beautiful 318is. Glad to see that James was able to help out. __________________ Sean 1995 Active | | | 06-30-2012, 08:11 PM | #6 | Junior Member Join Date: May 2012 Location: Clearwater, FL Posts: 26 | Hmm...I had no idea our consoles were different.
