I don't kknow of anyone with a repeating problem.
Are you sure you popped it in all the way? When I replaced my plastic bushing it popped out as soon as I closed the window. I did not have it seated in far enough.

Perhaps the scissor arm is bent?
Mine is on the right side.

Mine was on the left (driver's side)...once the arm was bent, I had to replace the whole thing. It would have been impossible to bend the arm back into shape... Once done, it has not recurred though...

You can either bring to someone to fix or do it yourself.
Look at http://www.318ti.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=404 for more iinformation.
It really isn't that hard to fix.

I pop them in the bushings all the way but it seems that the wall is too thin and it keeps on breaking next to the clip that is suppose to secure it.

You have a problem then. It shouldn't be breaking repeatedly. And you secured it with the C clip or whatever you would call that?

Mine have worked flawlessly since new.

I do notice a rather loud 'click' when the window reaches the bottom of it's travel, but only on the driver's side.

Is this a sign of failure??

Yep. I bet if you watch the door as it goes down you will see a buldge near the handle. Mine does anyway. The scissor is slightly bent.

J!m--As Steve says, your arm is probably bent. Mine made a loud click, too, just before it failed (rather catastrophically with the window partway down at ~75mph on a rutted freeway...scared the $#!* out of me!). I was lucky the window didn't break, too!

This is the reason on a warm summer day I replaced the plastic bushings. The window is going to go on the worst cold snowy day when you ar elate for work.

Another great reason to not drive it in the winter...
