If it pertains to a swap, and all other sensors were correctly working pre-swap, then youve done something wrong. If you had issues previously, your swap better be perfect or youll be hunting down issues with multiple variables, making it much more difficult to diagnose a simpler issue. If youre positive that youve done the swap correctly, all the wiring is correct, and all components around the swap are in good working condition, then you need to pick up the bentley manual and diagnose each aspect to see what is causing your problem. As helpful as most and i are, im not going to post a bunch of documents to hunt for an unknown issue. As far as "flow charts" go, a schematic of wiring, sensors, lights, etc. can be found in the bentley as well, to help with testing your circuits for proper power. Besides, in your first post, all of our tis have EWS that has to be "energized" as well, when you turn to the run/start position. If using a red label dme, it still gets power and is needed to run the car, but the DME is not looking for the signal and will start the car as long as the EWS wire is cut in the engine bay, I.E. the engine harness itself, the chassis harness next to the fuse box, or at the DME itself (wires, not socket). If you honestly need help, post a LOT more information so that others can properly assess your situation and possibly find a solution for you.
