HEY FELLOWS, What is the lifetime of a typical BMW OEM Battery for a TI's??? I think I may have a bad batter on my hands, I went to start the car and I have little to no light on the instrument cluster and getting all kinds of weird displays. I replaced my battery about 3 yrs ago. Are there any other batteries I can buy at any other place other than a dealer?? What do you recommend? thanks | | | 07-24-2005, 06:23 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Tampa, FL Posts: 677 | My battery would die after having my radio on for 5 minutes...I didnt want to have to worry about waking up in the morning to go to work and having a car that wouldnt start so I went to my nearest discount auto, they found a battery that was able to be used on my car $45 later new battery and no problems. But you dont have to ever go to a dealer sorry....dealer for anything like that. That is like going to the dealership to get windshield wipers or bulbs for you headlights..... But definetly hit an auto store and see what the going rate is for batteries in your area...I cant see it being much different then here though. __________________ my new world | | | 07-26-2005, 01:32 AM | #3 | Member Join Date: Dec 2003 Location: Los Angeles, SoCal Posts: 77 | What kind of battery would you guys recommend for a 98 ti? Cost should be around $85 -95. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
