It does look nice. The price is a bit high for the mileage and lack of packages. I just snagged a 97 318ti for 3200 and it only has 102k miles + the active package. | | | 07-13-2009, 02:49 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Don't look to closely for the power seats or tilt steering. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 07-13-2009, 03:04 AM | #5 | Member Join Date: Jul 2009 Location: New Jersey Posts: 93 | Quote: Originally Posted by 1996 328ti Don't look to closely for the power seats or tilt steering. | Wasn't cruise control the determining factor for active? I thought every active had cruise control. | | | 07-13-2009, 03:06 AM | #6 | Junior Member Join Date: Jun 2009 Location: New York Posts: 18 | hmm I noticed no power seats, thats okay, but didn't check for tilt steering. I guess you can tell somehow it doesn't have this. I was going to look at it again this week. I have it down to two cars. | | | 07-13-2009, 03:07 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Cruise was standard in the active package, optional in the base and sport. Based on the wheels, it's an active. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 07-13-2009, 03:18 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | Quote: Originally Posted by BrooklynDakar I noticed no power seats, thats okay, but didn't check for tilt steering. What you think is a good deal another person may not. Decide ahead of time what you are willing to spend and what you want for your money. Then decide if the car fits. If not add or subtract $ for missing or additional features, then repeat the evaluation process. If possible wait a day before making the decision and see if it still seems right, then go for it.
