My sister and brother in law are looking for a car and really like my tis. I'll pass this on to them? | | | 05-15-2006, 08:36 PM | #5 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: Mebane, NC Posts: 23 | I'd like to get $7000 for it. Average retail for it on nada.com is $7,775 with the miles, but I know it is a salvage vehicle. I have driven it for 8,000 miles and all I have had to do maintenance-wise is change the oil. CEL only came on before I replaced the idle control valve and I knew thats what it was because it idled back and forth from 750 to 1500 rpm without even touching the gas. Airbag light is on continuously but that was probably cause I took the seats out. The interior leather is very good and the front floormats are ok, the back ones are very good. A/C is cold and heat works good once the car gets heated up. Comes with the FK angel eyes which I paid $300 for, more than likely the pioneer cd player, and the 16" Mille Miglias. I can throw in the stock headlights and stock 15" inch alloys if you really want them. This car runs and drives very smooth. The only reason I am considering selling is because I want something faster, and I don't have the kind of dough to make these TIs a lot faster. | | | 05-26-2006, 04:27 AM | #6 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: Mebane, NC Posts: 23 | The Ti is definitely for sale now that I bought an M3. Does the sunroof still work? | | | 05-26-2006, 04:57 PM | #8 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: Mebane, NC Posts: 23 | Quote: Originally Posted by jigg60 check your pm... Does the sunroof still work? | I haven't yet found out where the oil is coming from but the condition hasnt't worsened at all. I plan on degreasing the engine sometime and finding the souce. I have switched the door lock and it works great. A new brake caliper has been ordered and I will put it on as soon as I get it. I'm not sure but I think the airbag light can just be reset with a resetting tool. I'm pretty sure the heater elements in the heated seats are burned out and that is just a matter of replacing them. The only place I have found them are $70 per seat at realoem.com. And yes the sunroof still works. | | | 05-26-2006, 05:02 PM | #9 | That's not Millpoint Blue Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: BNA Posts: 3,161 | Just a quick question for clarification... in your original post, you wrote that the car had a "moonroof," but in your last post, called it a "sunroof." My previous car had a moonroof, so I know there's a difference. The moonroof in my Honda was tinted glass and had a separately sliding sunscreen. The 318ti's have a sunroof, which is a solid panel without glass. If you found a moonroof to retrofit into your 318ti, I'd love to know about it. :-) __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH! I used to think the sunroof was the one with the glass but thanks for clarifying. | | | 05-26-2006, 06:11 PM | #11 | That's not Millpoint Blue Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: BNA Posts: 3,161 | I've always wondered why the sunroof/moonroof names were chosen, but I won't hijack your thread with such pointless trivia. heh heh Instead... let me know if you'd be interested in selling the wheels separately. I'm sort of tentatively shopping around for something like those, and also looking for other options. __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH! Car now has 116,000 miles and still running strong. I replaced the sticking brake caliper and all is fine and dandy now. Somebody make an offer that seems fair. __________________ FK angel eyes, clear corners, 16" Mille Miglia wheels | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
