It started out as a VW gtg but there are a variety of European cars there. Nice smooth parking lot and unlike the Walnut gtg on Wednesday hosted by bimmerforums this one hasn’t been harassed by the authorities. I went last week and stayed for a little while, I'm definitely going again this week. More info at link including directions. It gets started at 8:00 but it really picked up around 9:15. Anyone else wants to go let me know. Pics from past West Covnia GTG's __________________ | | | 03-05-2008, 10:55 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | any more pictures of the golfs? __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 03-05-2008, 11:41 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Fort Collins, CO Posts: 1,305 | vw vortex seems really good about putting great meets on. they have another one down in denver coming up in the next couple of weeks | | | 03-06-2008, 10:51 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: SoCal Posts: 305 | Quote: Originally Posted by thesk8nmidget any more pictures of the golfs? | Check the link to the VWVortex thread. I like my 318 and I like the people I've met on the 318 forum and at weekly and monthly GTG's, however the rest of the BMW community can lick my ****s! I'll stick to the bastard child 318 and the uber cool people that drive them. __________________ | | | 03-06-2008, 04:10 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | thanks theres some nice cars!! __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 03-11-2008, 06:25 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: SoCal Posts: 305 | anyone up for next weeks gtg. everyone is meeting in West Covina around 8 and headed to a gtg at the Ontario mills mall. This West Covina meet has been nice no cops and the business owners are ok with the weekly gtg. __________________ | | | 03-16-2008, 12:40 AM | #9 | Moderator Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: SoCal318ti Posts: 1,574 | Lets go people, who else is signing up? | | | 03-17-2008, 06:46 AM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: SoCal Posts: 305 | I'm still planning on going tomorrow night, unless a buddy of mine is in town for business.
