Not that it's going to matter much since you bought the car already. __________________ '95 330ti CS w/sr delete, S50USB30, cams, 24# inj, Conforti SW, Euro HFM, Samco Silicone Intake Boot, BBTB, Euro Oil Cooler, JTD CAI Duct, RE DMS exhaust, RE Tranny mounts, CF Valve Cover, LTW flywheel/Kevlar sprung hub clutch, RE SSK, 3.46 Finned LSD (M6) , M3 tranny, Brembos, RE Wheel Studs, SS brake/clutch lines, CF interior, Rear Headrest retrofit, Tilt Steering retrofit, 13.5 lb DynaBatt in rear, LED interior/footwell lights, ZKW HID, Headlight Aim Control, Rear fog light w/cluster indicator, CF 3 Aux gauge pod, BMW Traffic Pro/Alpine MP3-CD Changer, Staggered LTW wheels, '95 M3 steering rack, VIS CF Hood, M3 LTW Strut Bar, TCK SA coilovers, Red LTW Motorsport Seatbelts, OEM Fire Extinguisher, Z8 Starter button, Auto dim rear view mirror w/ Homelink/Compass, PDC, Rear Sun Shade, Euro Gauge Cluster w/oil temp/shift light , Headlight Washers, "Motorsport" Door Handles, CF Grills, French ZKW Fogs, Euro dash bins, Power Lumbar Support is next, Coming e39 M5 interior light, Bimmer Magazine 8/2007 | | | 06-15-2005, 06:27 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2003 Location: cary, nc Posts: 2,259 | well i paid 8700 for my 95 ti....about two and a half years ago....it had about all the same options...except the arm rest...my car had 69k miles when i got it too... so you may have paid too much, or i got a crazy good deal... __________________ 1995 318ti Active Pioneer Speakers [] Aluminum Billet door locks [] ACS Pedals/Deadrest [] ACS Shift Knob / E-Brake Handle [] Clear Corners/Tails/Sides [] Sylvania Exterior Lighting [] Custom CAI [] Dinan Engine Chip [] Dinan Transmission Chip [] H&R Race Springs [] Tokico Illumina Shocks [] BMW X-Brace [] Relocated Lighter Mod [] Custom iPod Mod http://www.cardomain.com/id/robcarync | | | 06-15-2005, 04:16 PM | #4 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | No ti's have tilt wheel unless it was added by whomever owns it. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 06-15-2005, 04:17 PM | #5 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | Quote: Originally Posted by Neverender I just won a 95 318ti on ebay. If you feel like you're happy with the car for that price, then you got a deal. I talked the old man who had my car down to $4000 cash. But this was also near beverly hills, where a 96 ti sport is old news lol. __________________ Joe, In San Luis Obispo E30-> '96 TI sport -> E30 -> '96 TI | | | 06-15-2005, 06:39 PM | #7 | Junior Member Join Date: Jun 2005 Posts: 4 | Yeah this car is located in MA at a small dealership, I going to be flying there to pick it up.. I paid like 8500 for my car. Some may think I over paid, but in my mind it was worth every penny! As long as it doesn't explode or anything! That may or may not put a damper on the trip, but I guess it depends on how you view it! lol __________________ '96 Alaska Blue ti w/ Supersprint cat-back exhaust...Dinan CAI & Chip...Eibach Pro-Kit Springs...Bilstein Sport shocks...BavAuto camber kit...Brembo d/s rotors...UUC SSK...Centerforce Dual Friction clutch...TMS 9lb flywheel...18 inch OZ Rims...Carbon-Fiber dash/gauge bezel...Momo Shift Knob...Indiglo gauges...Schroth Harness...ZKW's/ProLumen 6k HID...Predator Chromiums http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y15...urowerksig.jpg | | | 06-15-2005, 06:54 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2003 Location: cary, nc Posts: 2,259 | i definently agree with the comment about paying too much....because when i got this car, my mom thought 8700 was too much (even though we talked him down from 9500...but it was worth it to me because i liked the car....but either way its beneficial to get the best deal you can on the car... just because you may be willing to pay 8600 dollars for a car...doestn mean you shouldnt or couldnt try and pay less...paying less just gives you more cash to do some cool mods __________________ 1995 318ti Active Pioneer Speakers [] Aluminum Billet door locks [] ACS Pedals/Deadrest [] ACS Shift Knob / E-Brake Handle [] Clear Corners/Tails/Sides [] Sylvania Exterior Lighting [] Custom CAI [] Dinan Engine Chip [] Dinan Transmission Chip [] H&R Race Springs [] Tokico Illumina Shocks [] BMW X-Brace [] Relocated Lighter Mod [] Custom iPod Mod http://www.cardomain.com/id/robcarync | | | 06-15-2005, 08:17 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: Pismo Beach, CA Posts: 500 | Living in slo, I would have took a nice little trip down to the la area. In santa anna thry have the la public auctions, with tons of 98 5 series foer about $10k each. I'm not sure how you feel about 5 series though. Take a drive down to la this weekend, you may not find a ti, but I'm sure you can fond an affordable e36 without havong to drive that far to pick it up __________________ Joe, In San Luis Obispo E30-> '96 TI sport -> E30 -> '96 TI | | | 06-15-2005, 08:24 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: Pismo Beach, CA Posts: 500 | Living in slo, I would have took a nice little trip down to the la area. Get his phone # in advance though because he doesn't post it on his website to keep down the not-serious callers. __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 06-17-2005, 07:38 AM | #14 | Member Join Date: Jun 2005 Location: Tolland, CT Posts: 34 | I can't comment on whether it was a good deal - what I've found is that it all comes down to how the car's been maintained. Here are some facts: I was watching that auction, and called on the car. The guy said - "if you want to see it, hurry, because I't s a hot car right now - I've had lot's of inquirys" It's 100 miles from my house, and I could'nt get there before the Auction ended. I'm in the process of closing on a 98 ti with 96,000 mi he was asking 75K. I test drove (5) 318tis this week and found two from private partys that were well kept Bimmers. One was a 95 with 159,000 mi that was worth every penny of the 5900 asking price. (no leather, but real clean 3rd owner car) Good luck with yours -... by the way, the dealer in Saugus had it listed on-line and in Auto-Trader for $9,999. (I figured because he also had it on E-bay and didn't want to mess up his auction for less). -Chris | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
