Default Fuel Pressure Regulator

i was just wondering if anyone had installed a fuel pressure regulator, because i just purchased one but i wasnt sure what to set it at for just normal cruising and how high i can set it. And if anyone had any pictures of theirs installed that would be helpful. tips on putting it on and answering these questions would also be helpful.

thanks

I have been looking at the FPR from BMP as well as the Air/Fuel Ratio meter.

The stock BMW FPR run at 3 bar or 43.5 PSI. As for the BMP guage I would stay away, I have one from them and it is the second one that I have had the first one broke, so I bought another one, that is right bought Al Hafner would not let me return the broken one. When the new one arrived it also did not work, I ended up taking the two apart and made one good one out of it.

I would go with something made by ARM, Or TWM

What are you trying to obtain by using a AFPR? I assume that you just want a little more power. If that is the case I would just play with it and just keep in mind that 43.5 PSI is stock.

I assume that your using a dry system since you are trying to use a fuel pressure regulator to add fuel.

To be honest your best friend would be a Wide Bahn. I would go with the Inovative LM1 or the AEM Uego. That way you will know exactly how far you can push it .

Some other things you may want to look into are RPM widow switches, and atimization nozels.
