I started my brake upgrade, then found the one new rotor wasn't quite new. No new one until tomorrow. So much for the test drive to work tonight. __________________ No more ti. | | | 04-02-2010, 11:41 PM | #182 | Member Join Date: Feb 2009 Location: Florida - Tampa Posts: 92 | Up to my elbows! Today I got the problem repaired. (leak in the low side line) Also had the receiver drier replaced. The mechanic noticed that the belts were cracked pretty badly so those were replaced too. $685 for time, parts, and materials. I ordered some parts last week, and I've got another part to pick up in a few days that'll put me over the $1000 for the week. Yay. But hey... the A/C is frosty now. :-D __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH! I was very fortunate to find a ti in this condition. And I beleive he may have been a member here. not sure. Im sure I will be taking pics of my own very soon and adding to my garage & photo album. 95' sport DASC Alpine Wht III 3.45 LSD Koni Adjustables Eibach sports brand new control arms/bushings X-brace OEM euro Corners & Tails cleeeeean interior sunroof DS1's everything is in it's place from the trunk to the hood. Silly me dropped a washer into the air plenum ( see cowling replacement thread) so I added "change cabin air filters" to the project list. Total time was about 1:30 which included changing the cowling, figuring out a way to make the cheap E-bay filters work, installing the air filters, and changing clothes. I'll add a pic of the filter mega-ghetto-hack in another thread once I get the pic off my phone and find the thread. __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH! Installed a new Duralast Battery, and new belts. Took my dad and I forever to get the belts installed, was very tricky but got it. Next is to get a new radiator, going to either go to Napa or Autozone to get one not sure who has the best price for a brand new one. Tony, you want to help me install the new radiator before you leave abroad? I'll take it to your house PM your address and the appropriate date for me to come over. Mr. Crow I have a smiley that shows how I feel about your new purchase and oh and this one Jess, have fun with the Coupe! That thing will be a beast with the S52 !! oh one more thing jess __________________ Greg M42 Club member 186 WTB: HELLROT RED CLUB SPORT 95 ti sold but staying in the family. Go to autohausaz.com I checked Advance Auto and they sell it for $200 [approximately]. Autohausaz.com sells it for $164 with free shipping. While you are at it make sure you buy a new radiator cap and if possible a brass bleed screw. I think I have a spare brass coolant drain bolt for the engine block so don't worry about that one lol. __________________ B.M.W. = Be My Wife | | | 04-07-2010, 01:15 AM | #193 | That's not Millpoint Blue Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: BNA Posts: 3,161 | Quote: Originally Posted by Recon427 Autohausaz.com sells it for $164 with free shipping | You can get them cheaper than that on E-bay. In fact, several people here have gotten them there, including myself. I can't remember the name of the seller, but my mechanic said it was a Behr (?) "second" or something like that. __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH!
