I have pretty much everything I think I need to get this swap done. My daughter spent some time in ICU recently (she's fine now), and the bills are rolling in. I have a 94 M50 with 90,000 miles on it. It still has all accessories on it (AC, power steering, water pump, alternator...). It also has full wiring harness and computer. I have a new Sachs clutch kit, and the OEM flywheel is on the motor. Other extras include a new radiator for an M50 and an full OEM exhaust (headers to muffler) from a 97 M3. I just put Bosch Platinum +4's in it and a valve cover gasket. The motor spins freely, but I have never personally fired it up. Motor is on a pallet, and I am willing to deliver within a reasonable distance with my truck. Make me an offer. If nobody here is interested, maybe I can get a feel for a good starting price for craigslist. Thanks, Ryan | | | 11-26-2008, 06:54 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Raleigh/Charlotte, NC Posts: 1,233 | How much? __________________ -Jeff | | | 11-26-2008, 11:14 PM | #3 | Member Join Date: Nov 2003 Location: Asheville, NC Posts: 59 | $1000 OBO. Best offer gets it all. | | | 11-27-2008, 10:10 AM | #4 | Member Join Date: Sep 2008 Location: Lancaster Posts: 86 | hey im very interested but is it 1000 for everything i need like engine and tranny or what? | | | 11-28-2008, 01:20 AM | #5 | Member Join Date: Nov 2003 Location: Asheville, NC Posts: 59 | It would be the parts listed in the first message: complete motor including wiring harness and computer, OEM flywheel, clutch, radiator, and full M3 exhaust. A transmission is not included. Your stock tranny should bolt right up to the M50, although they (motor swap gurus) say it's eventually a good idea to put in a beefier one from a 6 cyl. car. I've also got a set of BMP design M3 style side skirts painted black that I'll throw in. Like I said, I can deliver locally or put everything onto a pallet for a freight company (buyer's expense).
