I have the rears and needed the fronts but drkblu318ti sold me TC struts instead of the purported HD's. Best offer takes 'em. A pair just sold there for $180. They work on all e36 models, I believe. Can someone shed any light on this? | | | 03-18-2007, 09:52 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Port St. Johns, Florida Posts: 2,242 | This are blacks right? any 318 e36 should be able to use them. | | | 03-18-2007, 09:56 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2005 Location: Ann Arbor, MI Posts: 150 | Quote: Originally Posted by Panzer_M This are blacks right? any 318 e36 should be able to use them. | Black. Model numbers are VNE-4419 and VNE-4420. So only the 318 e36 models use these? | | | 03-23-2007, 07:50 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2005 Location: Ann Arbor, MI Posts: 150 | | | | 03-23-2007, 11:56 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2004 Location: Northern Michigan Posts: 867 | Quote: Originally Posted by branden drkblu318ti sold me TC struts instead of the purported HD's. Not sure how someone could sell you shocks saying they are HD's when the part number is on the tube...? __________________ [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] | | | 03-24-2007, 12:09 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2005 Location: Ann Arbor, MI Posts: 150 | I've talked to drkblu about it, and he said that he was sold those struts thinking they were really HD's too. He offered to pay me some money back, but we never followed through with anything after I went to school. Now I'm finally selling these because I want to the get them out of the garage so I can buy real HD's, and have 'em ready to be installed as soon as I'm out of school. I'm going to do the whole suspension along with it too. I'm going to pull the subframe and put in all new bushings, ball joints, the struts etc. | | | 03-24-2007, 02:06 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Regensburg, Germany Posts: 584 | what does TC mean?
