Default Short shifter

Hi people, today i read in www.understeer.com about swaping the sfifter of my TI by a 328/m3 shifter work fine, maybe your need to "bend" the selector rod for better clearance between the drifshaft and it. My question is:

Anoy of your do that, any opinion of that, i'm planning to buy the short shifter in understeer, that one that short by 50%. Please opinion or any experience with that?!?!?

Thanks for read

Fernando

I thought the MZ3 was the shifter that reduced the throw by 50%. I put the MZ3 shifter in, had to bend the selector rod. Buy a new selector rod when you buy the shifter arm, just incase. Based on what you have already done, this will be very easy.

Put the shifter in, put the selector arm in, and go throught the gears. I think 2nd gear will hit without bending the selector rod.
