Thumbs up NASCAR

i'm sure that a lot of you are not NASCAR Sprint Cup fans...that's cool, i respect that.
for those of you who are fans...Daytona 500 today!
i have a little five driver pool going on at work. here's my picks in order.

1. Carl Edwards
2. Juan Pablo Montoya
3. David Ragan
4. Paul Menard
5. Martin Truex Jr.

i also play on ESPN fantasy league (both NASCAR pick'ems)

so, tell me your thoughts...what's what?

I think all her accidents from speed week were causes by contact from someone else. I was not a fan of hers but I do respect that she pulled her hands off the wheel before destroying the barrier and car. She has not bitched at all about pain and I'm sure her body is beaten up from those accidents. I would like to see Gordon wreck in the 1st lap

yes!
i think that there are other up-and-coming drivers that will step-up this year. i've never liked Jeff Gordon. too arrogant.
didn't Danica get bellow the line in turn 3 yesterday and get crossed-up before hitting the wall? i thought she was unassisted in that wreck...could be wrong tho.

I think she got tapped or was in a push situations and the rear got loose. I could be wrong too. Gordon is a douche bag and always has been. I had a chance for a free used tire signed by him and refused it...

I saw Danica wreck in the Nationwide race at Vegas 2 years ago, but it wasn't her fault. She rear-ended some clown whose car was damaged and didn't get out of the way.
As far as this year....Go Ambrose!

Haha my kids think they have the day off school. I told them today is now a national holiday due to the Daytona rain delay. Man they are going to be bummed when I wake them up in 15 minutes and tell them to get ready for school.
