I have an OBD2 M44 engine that I want to put into my OBD1 car that had an M42 engine. Basically the difference is the OBD system, I have all the parts for either but would like to keep the car OBD1 if possible. Cam and Crank sensors seem to be the biggest Issue so far. One in the front one in the back, one on the intake and the other on the exhaust. Anyone got a good list of the steps required to make this work? Thanks randy | | | 03-07-2019, 08:34 PM | #17 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2018 Location: canada Posts: 2 | Has any one have any info on the topic? im going to put a m52 obd2 into my 95 obd1 318ti? will have to do remove or splice any wire in order for it to start. and should i just keep the original speedo? any info before i dive in would be greatly appreciated. | | | 03-07-2019, 09:27 PM | #18 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2010 Location: Ottawa Posts: 579 | Quote: Originally Posted by Drift! We offer this service for swaps. info@midnight-tuning.com for pricing cheers | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
