I brought this up before, but this time I went ahead and did it. I bought both left and right side door airbags from a 1998 M3. They look perfect, only $30.00 for the pair.. All I need now is to either buy the knockout door panels, or custom mine.

Sure, I could do without them, but I love having a "To Do" list. Otherwise I get bored.

Looking at the pic of my door, I imagine it goes over the vapor barrier. Can you see the yellow connector, it's plug and play.

Can anyone find the correct page on REALOEM that points to the side impact airbags for a 1998 M3 Coupe? I can't find where they list airbags on that site. I wanna make sure these will work with my car. I know I have the connectors in the door, I saw them when I was playing in the door.

Do the airbags attach to the door panels? They have 4 points of connection, from looking at the pictures. How about part#'s off the airbags, so I can check to see if what I bought are the same?
