Default Anyone tried this spring/shock combo?

KYB GR2 shocks/struts and Vogtland springs... About $425 plus ship

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KYB-G...mZ150217494112

Any personal experiences?

or go with these; ($240 plus ship)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-...3756.m20.l1116

and add these; ($289 plus ship)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-...3756.m14.l1318

Which I know many people here have used...

Vogtland springs are good from what i have heard. lots of people in out local chapter suggest them but those rear struts in the ebay auction dont look like they would work.

i would ask for specific pictures of the struts for the ti

i also have never heard of those shocks

I am sure some others have (I remember at least some positive reviews of Vogtlands) and maybe with the KYB's too. The member was fairly active and had a nice setup, spent serious $$.

Sorry to be obvious but have you searched? Maybe alternate (mis)spellings too?

I had some vogtlands in Germany and the ride quality was great but not enough of a drop. I still had a lot of gap in my fender well. so went with a FK coilover setup.

I did search, but the results were not what I was looking for, I guess... What I was really trying to decide was whether the combo setup (vogtlands & KYB's) was worthwhile.

Let me clarify a little... I'm not going to track the car, as it's my dd. I also don't want to drop it too low (over 2"... roads around here can be crappy). I picked up a set of OEM sport springs from a member here, but after searching and reading, I feel I want a little more drop and handling improvement than those will provide, but I'm not going for the really slammed look and feel.

My last car was an '01 IS300, which was dropped over 2", rolled fenderwells, etc, but the undercarriage and nose got pretty beat, so I don't want to do that again.

Just trying to find the right balance, I guess...
