New to forum...new to BMW...

Today...I will be receiving my first BMW...I never thought of getting one but when I was approached with the deal...I couldn't resist...I don't know what to expect but it'll be here in a few hours...

Thanks for replying....I honestly thought this forum was on the dead side...but anyways about the car...mechanically it runs...but it looks like its seen better days...inside both door panels are shot...steering wheels leather torn...locks and windows work...ac works...sunroof not opening but motor turns...windshield cracked...all gas shocks/supports nothing...gotta use a stick...alot of missing interior pieces...

But like I said it runs and shifts fine...and I'm glad the ac is blowing cold...

I got alot of parts to find...but I think I got a great project ahead of me...plus my wife seems to secretly like it...I saw her researching prices for parts...

If you can point me in right direction for better research results I'd appreciate it...I'm sure most of what I'll do somebody has already done...

I hope to be apart of this community and learn to have fun with this project...thanks

Check the for sale section here. It's probably the highest concentration of ti parts on the web.

They only imported about six thousand between 1995 and 1999 so it's a somewhat rare car.

There's also miss kitty in Germany who can get whatever you need if you hit a wall.
