Default s52 anyone?

im thinking of selling this S52B32US engine. no traNNY just the engine...n im taking offers. it has all paper work bought from a friend who owns a salvage shop in Fontana. car where it came from had 42380 on it and was rear ended by a dump truck.

i rebuilt the engine myself.. all seals were replaced for good measure. im only thinking of selling is extra one cuz im getting a S54B32 from my friend again. one just came in with 37k plus...

hit me up with offers... so i can see my budget on getting the other engine and experimenting on that.

Holy sheet! Isn't that like 4million miles?

Anyway, are you perhaps selling any other stuff along with the engine? Harness, ecu, accesories...etc.?

It doesn't need park distance control, and hates decadence. It is musclepacked, yet lightly wound. It lets you feel the asphalt and get you going with the smallest touch of the pedal. It provokes, seduces, and demands to be driven hard. It looks, sounds, and smells like performance.

no harness or nothing? damn... i'd was gonna think about it since i might have to replace my motor....
but at that price with no accessories to hook it up it'd be too much to think about right now....
BUT hold up cuzin. you want to use the S52 ecu, harness, and etc off the S52 to use on the S54???!!! would that even work yo? cuz of course the S54 uses differene ecu's and such to make it run... am i reading and computing this correctly or am i confused here??????

Marv17 im trying to figure your questions myself thats why i didnt include them in the sale. actually. i lot of questions so far with this S54... since i have to take in consideration it has 300+HP... so im still at grey areas on what im going to do. my biggest problem right now is the suspension for the next project car. i dont want to be like ford who put in 500HP on a mustang and gave it ancient suspension at the rear...

yeah. i mean im no genius in regards of all the essentials on motor swaping BUT i doubt the ecu and harness for the S52 will work for the S54. i mean, it a total different motor. and its bigger. and requires different timing and such....
but damn. are you able to get a M52??

I don't think the S52 harness and ECU will work on that S54. Since there's a bunch of other stuff that will need to be purchased to make either of these swaps work, I think it would be in your best interest to include the ECU and harness with the S52 to help the sale. You're probably going to need the S54 harness and ECU for your swap anyway and you should get them when/if you buy that motor. Heck, I'd try to get the 6 speed tranny as well and just include the tranny you have in the S52's sale. The more you include, the better your chances are of recovering the money spent on the rebuilt S52. Keep in mind, people aren't spending a lot of money right now because of the economy.
