Hello all,
I assume this is the most appropriate place for me to introduce myself. I hail from the wonderful city of Toronto, Canada. I am a long time BMW enthusiast and when I saw a hellrot red 97 318ti up for sale I jumped at the chance. I couldn't think of a better car to begin my BMW journey with. it has 260,000km on it but it purrs like a kitten and passed the emissions test better than most new cars these days so I knew the motor was in great shape. other than some minor body work (which I got the seller to take care of as part of my purchase price) the car is immaculate. I hope to have many years of enjoyment out of this baby!

Thanks for the warm welcome! I will post pics soon. I have no choice but to drive it in the winter. But it will be in a covered garage when not in use. I will be investing in rust proofing and undercoating.
