If you're still having problems I believe that I would invest $10 more and put a bottle of Water Wetter in the system. It come recommended by Wayne Dempsey, the Pelican Parts guy, who, by the way has an engineering degree from MIT. I think that Wayne's a straight guy who doesn't recommend something unless he knows it to work. I use it in two cars, and I have never had a problem bleeding a system.

and for top offs, keep a jug of 50/50 (distilled H2O/coolant) handy. I even keep a quart sized bottle of 50/50 in my car for emergencies.

Absolutely.

It's not going to hurt anything in the short term to not use distilled water, but over a period of time, or if you don't flush your cooling system on a regular basis, hard water can wreak havoc on a cooling system.

i will just see if that really is the problem (hopefully, fingers crossed!) and then i can flush it again.. np ... it should be all sorted now, but im just nervous if i did it right and just about the whole deal..
