So it was a stock photo.
You could get with or without a sunroof. I doubt AC was anything but standard.

Here is another photo.

I love how people come up with stats like only 5 had no sunroofs.

1995 318ti Clubsports were only produced in 09/95-10/95.

Only Oct 1995? This is the first time I've ever heard that.

I stand corrected regarding the sunroof: http://318ti.org/forum/showthread.php?t=3007&page=2

I have a copy of the Sales Operations Dealer Bulletin that contains the Club Sport Ordering Guide. It advised that 400 were available for firm order, with a SOP(Start Of Production) in September/October(mine was built in October). The Guide refers to the Club Sport package as Model Code 9530. It states that there were three options available:
Limited Slip (Code 209) $580
Electric Sunroof (Code 401) $1200
Premium Audio System (Code 676) $550
I have my original window sticker, and it shows that the Club Sport package itself cost $3050; with destination charge($570) the MSRP on my car was $24650.
There's a reason why very few Club Sports were built without sunroofs. A few days after my order was placed, my salesperson(Barbara Neuerman) was informed by Munich that ALL Club Sports were going to be built with sunroofs(and cost $1200 more, of course). I told Barbara that I really didn't want it if I had to take the sunroof. Barbara pulled some strings and ended up having my car and another Hellrot Club Sport built without sunroofs. I'd love to pick up the heated seat kit.

Default Drilling Template

Some of the earlier non-M e36's including some ti's didn't come with plastic sideskirts at all. Instead, they just had a metal panel which was usually painted dark grey from the factory. For these vehicles, they sell a drilling template so you can drill holes to accept the clips for a plastic sideskirt retrofit.

My ti has the dark grey panel. Where can I find this drilling template?

I think they've fixed that, or it was just a bad batch that were too long. the set I bought last year fits great, although the jack holes don't line up

Check out the VIN decoding thread here http://www.318ti.org/forum/showthread.php?t=18444 I believe the M Sport package will show up in the VIN decoding if it was installed from the factory.
