Just take out the M44 and throw in the S50. The trany will fit. You have to use all the parts of your M3 , and add the destroyed. The engine compartment is exactly the same. You have to be carefull with the electronic section of the swap , if your engine is OBDI and the ti is a M44 it will be more difficult,and the immobiliser needs attention too.
