Default very strange...

Hey guys, long time no see....

I have a wierd scenario to try and explain here........

So my car has been laid up for about 1.5 months, before I put it away, I noticed a small leak of my brake fluid, it never affected the brakes themselves when it would run low, but the clutch pedal would drop the floor... this happened after i hit a huge 2ft deep puddle and tore my new rieger lip off (yeah i was pissed haha).. but i didn't think much of it because i figured maybe i just tore a brake line off and where it was going away for the winter, i was putting off trying to fix it til later this winter when funds were more available... so i topped the fluid off before i parked it and about 2 weeks ago, i went out to start it and let it run for abit to get all the cobwebs out of there and i noticed that i had a full clutch pedal still (aka no more leak) ... so i didn't think much of it, i figured maybe it needed to be 'circulating' for it to leak, so i ran it around the block a couple times, came home, parked it and left it.... i went out again the other day, and still has a full pedal... so the leak has stopped

i had a similar problem with my old sunfire and it turned out to be the slave cylinder, but i just replaced the slave in my TI this summer..... anyone have any ideas what the heck might be going on?

Default

Maybe the cold weather's change on the viscosity of the brake fluid is making it seem like the leak has stopped?
