I am interested to know if there are any significant differences between the m42 and m44 DASC kits. I have a 96ti and am looking at purchasing a kit from a guy with a DASC setup on his 94 318i. Couldn't find a specific answer to this question by searching. Any help is greatly appreciated. | | | 07-02-2006, 09:29 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2004 Location: MD/VA/DC Posts: 834 | 94 wount just bolt up you will have to buy extra parts from dasc i dont own a dsac but my friend did and he sold and the person that bought had to buy parts from dasc to make it work | | | 07-04-2006, 09:55 PM | #3 | doesn't care about you. I don't know what the differences are, ZeroG might know. __________________ '99 Dinan M3 | | | 07-06-2006, 04:50 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2004 Location: Fort Collins, CO Posts: 290 | The 93 and 94 M42 kits use serpentine belts, so the pulley setup is way different from the 95 M42 kit. Some of the intake bits are different between the M42 and M44 kits, brackets and such. Also the M44 kit makes 1 or 2 psi more boost I've heard. | | | 07-06-2006, 05:45 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Portland Or Posts: 2,666 | My 95 has 2 serp belts... Not a V belt. Just more data.... If he's getting it off a 94 318i, then it's important info. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
