I will post pix soon: the car should be back on the road this weekend after some extraordinary maintenance (cat, valve cover gasket, vacuum lines, manifold & injectors cleaning)... This should be it for quite a while!!! I find it interesting how folks here have the same dream as me: "one day, I'll have a M44 with DASC and NickG Stage 3" eheheh!!! __________________

i wonder... does the z3 make as good of a candidate for a swap as the Ti??
Namely, could you take an E36 6cyl and toss it in there with no major issues?

yes the mounting points are all the same. they made it accept them all since there are 1.9 2.8 and 3.2 z3's  __________________

And welcome to the site! | You could, but there's really no need: the Z3 have been available also with the M52, M52TU, S52, M54 and S54... I think if you're not satisfied by an M44 you'r ebetter off get a whole new car as opposed to go through the whole swapping effort. But I salute all of you guys that did so on the ti!!!! __________________
