E46 to E36 rear roundel badge size

Anyone on here got a e46 compact and can tell me the size of ur rear emblem roundel...Is it the same size as the e36?? Anyone know??

I've seen pictures on here of somebody that did the swap with the rear light up roundel. I think he also switched his rear hatch button to operate by the rear roundel pivoting in when pressed. If you can find that post he had all of the measurements and the basic process to switch it over. Maybe a google search will turn it up as I'm not completely sure I saw that on here.
