It took me a month to complete seeing as I work 9-7 everyday but sunday and monday. A buddy of mine allowed me to use a lift at his shop, but as you can imagine thats only if he didn't have use for that particular lift... Or if he didn't bail from the shop before I left work Otherwise seeing as I was definitely prepared (parts wise) for the swap, it should've been done in a weekend! Nonetheless it's done now and I can honestly say that I'm pleased and proud of this swap. It's the first swap that performed on a bmw... and I guess I can say it's my first ///M car swap includes 3.5" hfm, active auto power pulleys for the alternator, ps pump, and water pump. active auto software. stainless ebay headers, universal magnaflow cat converter and magnaflow muffler. e28 3.45 lsd Here are some pictures when i actually felt like taking my gloves off and snapping a few. Now most of the pictures are from my evo so please bare with the clarity... other than that... ENJOY!! __________________ It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives. Eventually you won't be able to find a 4 cyl ti at the rate ppl are swapping now. I'm one of those that would rather do a restoration of sorts over a swap. That's my plan eventually with whichever Ti I have when the flow is there. Have fun with your 6er __________________ | | | 04-20-2011, 10:18 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2009 Location: Miami, FL Posts: 874 | nice i already started saving up for the swap hopefully it'll be done by the end of the year | | | 04-20-2011, 11:03 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: Georgia Posts: 148 | Quote: Originally Posted by Mr.Squeelerz Congrats. Looks pretty nice. Finally got a chance to look at the photo's. I've been running mobile all day. Looks like you pulled it off very cleanly. You've got something you can really appreciate, that's for sure. What's with the saran wrap over the intake filter?
