I just picked up some new rims and now it is time for tires. I'll be running 17x7.5 rims. I was thinking about running 235/40's with the plans of getting new H&R Sports with Koni Sports. The issues I'm running into is the limited amount of tires in that size. I was thinking about a 225/45, but the OD of that is 25" vs the 235/40 is 24.4". My main concern is over-all height in the rear obviously for the reason of rubbing when I lower it. What is everyone running for tire sizes in this situation. Any help would be appreciated. Oh I forgot to add, I have the M50 swap so I'm trying to have enough tire width that I'm not burning tires off and that it actually grips __________________ 1998 M-tech 325ti; Hellrot: M50 Swap, Cold-Air Intake, Custom Magna-Flow Exhaust, Depo Housings w/55 Watt HID, Yellow Fogs,Tinted Windows (35%), M3 Front Spoiler Lip, Black Grills, X-Brace, 17" Drag DR-19 wrapped with Hankook VR-12s, Bilstein HD with M-Tec Springs | | | 05-08-2010, 02:55 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2009 Location: Long Beach, SoCal Posts: 373 | Right now Im looking at either Dunlops or Hankooks. Most likely I will go with the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110. I have heard nothing but good things about them and they are extremely low priced at tirerack.com Very well rated by many consumers. I think Im already sold. __________________ 1998'SportR.I.P. 1995 Sport AlpineIII | | | 05-08-2010, 03:52 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Manassas, VA Posts: 4,129 | I just put on 4 new Dunlop Sport 9000's size 17/235/45.
