Posts: 52 | Braking Producing Buzzing Sound? I'm getting this buzzing sound coming from the front-left side of the car [Note: My steering wheel is on the right hand side] either in the engine bay or the left wheel, whenever I brake and a slight vibration from the brake pedal. Also, the brake light sensor is on but when I press the brake pedal all the way in, it turns off. Does anyone know what it means? | | | 04-01-2006, 11:44 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: Montclair, VA Posts: 338 | i don't | | | 04-01-2006, 04:10 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: state college, pa Posts: 3,431 | It means check your brake pad wear. Pull the wheel off and turn the steering wheel to your right. You can visually inspect the pads through the caliper from there. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 04-01-2006, 04:18 PM | #4 | Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: .. But is the buzzing sound normal? | | | 04-01-2006, 07:28 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: state college, pa Posts: 3,431 | The only way to figure it out is to take a look. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
