Theres a short segment in a rally crash video I found with a NICE lookin rally'd out 318ti in it! It's the very last car shown in the vid, and it comes in a 4:11. And no, it doesn't crash..the driver just kinda spins it into a donut. I love it! Check it out : Video -Andy __________________ | | | 01-04-2008, 09:12 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Land of the Vikings Posts: 2,700 | some serious smack ups there! but absolute crispness with the rally compact Great find! __________________ Vin Number decode and Retrofit Pdfs Available Free ! He was a good driver. Not because he didnt crash, but he was the only car that had the wheels countered on the turns (facing the oppsite way of a turn). And that's why he didnt crash. | | | 01-04-2008, 11:29 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | Actually now that i saw it again and observed. He DIDNT counter the turn and thats why he spun out. I thought he kept going to the right but he went to the left. Didnt have the wheels countered and thats why he spun out. | | | 01-04-2008, 11:46 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Damascus, Maryland Posts: 434 | Quote: Originally Posted by DocDuvi nice vids saw some nice E30's and VW rabbits wonder what engine is that ti running didnt sound 6cilish | Rules of rallying state that it has to be under 2.0 liters, so it's most likely the stock engine tuned up quite a bit. I mean, hell, do what ever you want to the engine in a rally car; drop an inline six with two turbos and race around a dirt track...unfortunately that won't get you into the pros. Heres some food for thought: the Mitsubishi Evo 8 (or 9..not sure) had 400bhp with a turbo charged 2.0L engine...impressive? Indeed! __________________ | | | 01-05-2008, 12:25 AM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Damascus, Maryland Posts: 434 | Well then..I don't know what class that is..But that link definitely proves me wrong.
