Bought 94 vert that has m3 engine in it.

Hello 318ti buddies, I bought 1994 convertible m3 yesterday. I know no 94 vert m3 come out in that year. I need your help to know which kind of m3 engine is it.

And I have 1996 318ti with bad headgasket and since I bought 94 vert yesterday and ready to do m3 conversion in 96 318ti. What I want to do is to keep automatic tranny, that 94 vert do have automatic tranny. I need yall input and where can I find DIY, Thank you for your time to read this.

Well if the engine is currently installed and running in a '94, it's an OBDI S50 or an S52 converted to OBDI. Either way, converting your OBDII 318ti to OBDI is illegal and you'd be bastardizing your car.

My bad guys, turns out the previous owner lied. Its just 325 engine. I know the car is obd1 and my ti is obd2.

What else to compelte it? Do Ti will have issue with EWS?
