My car pissed its coolant and overheated and I had to drive my sisters 96 A4 and it had a aftermarket CD player in it. For the first time ever I got to listen to a CD on the daily drive, it was awesome. So now I want a CD player but I wanna keep a stock look. Do stock CD players play burned CDs? Ill probably try to find one on Bf.c (unless someone here has one) but I dont know what kinda prices are fair. What would be a fair price on a stock CD player? __________________ "Drive Fast and Take Chances" | | | 04-20-2008, 04:38 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | cd43 run 200-300 for a nice new or refurbed unit. they will play burned cds but not mp3 cds. you could also get a cd changer for less and they also play burned cds but not mp3's __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 04-21-2008, 02:07 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Quad Cities, Iowa Posts: 2,110 | How much would be fair to ask for one out of a wrecked car? __________________ "Drive Fast and Take Chances" | | | 05-19-2008, 05:39 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | 200 __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 05-19-2008, 09:14 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | there are aftermarket cd players that retain a somewhat factory look, there's a thread here somewhere, I'll see if I can find it EDIT: here it is, it's one of the last posts by Josh http://www.318ti.org/forum/showthread.php?t=19191& it's prolly not exactly what you were looking for though, I remembered having a more factory look but I guess I was wrong | | | 05-19-2008, 09:18 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: state college, pa Posts: 3,431 | Blaupunkt has the most factory look. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | Similar Threads | Thread | Thread Starter | Forum | Replies | Last Post | OBDII EWS delete | mooseheadm5 | Engine Swaps | 12 | 03-28-2007 08:30 PM | |
