So I'm thinking of doing the micro suede mod on the ti: A, B,C pillars, headliner, sunroof, shift boot, and e-brake boot. I can get this all done professionally for $280. I wanted to see what you guys thought about doing the mod. | | | 06-16-2008, 05:04 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | there has been a few people to do ms headliners and it looks GREAT __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 06-16-2008, 05:32 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2006 Location: Wisconsin Posts: 1,895 | Sounds like a good deal! __________________ ... ʎɐqǝ uo pɹɐoqʎǝʞ ɐ ʎnq ı ǝɯıʇ ʇsɐן ǝɥʇ sı sıɥʇ | | | 06-16-2008, 07:59 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | I think it would look good | | | 06-17-2008, 05:28 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: norcal - 94590 Posts: 3,186 | +1 I think it would look very nice... what color you thinking? Are you going to use a foam layer in between the micro-suede and fiberglass or just attach the micro-suede directly to the fiberglass? | | | 07-21-2008, 07:18 PM | #11 | Moderator Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: SoCal318ti Posts: 1,574 | Quote: Originally Posted by Viper3812 Headliner will be completed this coming Thursday followed by pics. | Cant wait, cant wait for the pics!!! | | | 07-23-2008, 03:21 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: Florida Posts: 1,595 | Quote: Originally Posted by csterne I am doing a headliner swap at the moment as well. He did not put foam in between it. I should get the car back by Sunday. | | | 07-28-2008, 08:37 PM | #14 | Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: Fayetteville AR Posts: 11 | Quote: Originally Posted by Viper3812 I stopped by the shop yesterday and he had the pillars and sunroof panel done. I'll update once I get the stuff on, I'm doing it without foam since the headliner backer board is pretty smooth. I'm thinking it won't need the foam too, but I'm doing the fabric shuttle first to get a feel for it. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
