Interesting. That comment doesn't appear for the 1996-1999 software. Maybe the need for EWS matching went away with OBD-II.

My Dinan Chip is in the mail should be here in a couple days...I'm having it installed by my local Bmw dealer. With the Dinan chip they do have to align the EWS so I'll pay the $120 for the install.So the Total price is now $220. Dinan customer service sucks. Ive been back and fourth for a week with Dinan and my dealer trying to get this damm chip..Will I really fell it? I dunno I already Have An Acshnitzer Exhaust and K&N. Any thats going to buy a chip Go with Turnermotorsports U can install it yourself...
