Default Unlock/ Lock switch
I have a '96 318ti and the lock switch for the doors works only one way. it unlocks the doors only when the doors are closed but when the door is open it will not lock the doors with the switch. Any ideas of what I could do...I have an alarm system in the car but I dont no if it works and do not have a remote.

It is a safety feature so you do not lock your keys in the car, I am sure that you can disable it, but I am not sure why you would want to...
