This is a common problem. he fixed the error code and the parts were replaced (so the light re-sets), but you have to go through a drive cycle to actually get a complete system re-check. Normally it is three start-stops you have to go through, but I seem to find it is at least 30 miles regardless of number of start-stops of the engine. It could be that you are chasing the problem up-stream- you replaced the O2 sensors (which may have been bad) but you may find that the cat needs to be done now for example, which caused the O2 sensors to go bad... re-scan it, and see what errors pop up. The OBD-II system is good, but far from perfect! |
