Well I'm done for stage 1. I've got the fuel injetors banked and broken from the DME so Mega has total comtrol of them... I have the Air temp sendor, throttle position & cranks position all shared concetions with the Mega so DME gets that signal too.

I didn't purchase a simulator casue I thought I didn't need it (Honest I was too poor for the $49 bucks) so I'm hooking it up to my OBDII bench flaher to power it up with a separtate laptop to program the Mega. I want to program in all constants like injector #, O2 wide-band, rpm idle, rpm coast, rev limiter, open loop A/F deduted from closed loop value (For boost when 70% TPS it goes open loop and I need to get those A/F ratios close to 12:1 for now then I will tweak to 12:5 and start shooting Meth

Finished picture of stage 1 xxxJohnBoyxxx Mega graft to BMW Montronic 5.2

Off to plug it in to the flasher and see if it has life or if I fcuked something up

Well first test total failure

I got EWS-II working good. Tried to program the Mega and it wouldn't communicate. So I tried to start it. I few bad back-fires out the exhaust and I noticed fuel all under the car. So Mega in unprogramed state does not work. Pulled it out and dropped in Mark D's DME and it fired right up blowing fuel and smoke everywhere. Hope I didn't wash the rings and skuffed them up. Well got the hybrid back in the house and trying to communicae with it. If I can't soon I going to try hyperterminal and see if that works...

Powerful unit....Can't even figure out how to talk to it....I might be in trouble

Well the Mega failure F'ed me good. It flooded my car out so bad that when I started it I got blue smoke like a mosquito fogger. This morning I started it and same thing and oil pressure was down about 15psi so I pulled up to the oil change area in my driveway. Drained the oil and it was like black gatorage thin black junk (was 15-50W ~ 1,500 miles). Refilled with 8 quarts of 15W-50W Mobil 1 and all is good. No smoke and oil pressure is dead nuts on now.

I had to have 9 quarts of oil and gas mixture come out when I drained it. It took two oil pans.

Only good thing is I guess I just cleaned all carbon and internal surfaces in my motor Not that that is a good thing.

In 25+ years I have never flooded a car this bad in my live....Not even 1:100 as bad...

I think it is. I went out and did some light boost rns and had little smoke so I think it's just carbon in the exhaust burning off.

I need to hit the track tomorrow and let er rip to ensure there are no issues

Compression is rock solid and oil looks good. Only thing it could be is turbo seal and if that's the case I'm going Garrett BB GT-30/70R water cooler and never have to replace it again...plus the 500-1,000 early spool will be hell on the street tires

I keep asking myself...Why didn't I buy the drag radials instead of the Mega?

Kick in the arse on that one

To add more pain...I was not hooking up with my Mark D's tune @17psi and I could go to 25psi so why the Fcuk did I go off on this Mega venture???? I can't even put down 70% of Mark's tune. Doh!! What the hell was I thinking.

Drag radials next

Just keep in mind, the drag radials will load up the diff, gearbox, and clutch. The tires were the weakest point in letting go, which is not too bad in keeping everything togethr. Once tires are upgraded it will look for the next weakest link.
