And the key word is easily.
When I go to the track I carry 5 tires, tools, jack, tent, cooler and clothes.
And I can still see out the rear window.

When you meet one guy, forget what he looks like and then meet him again.

I still get the "oh, I see you installed an M3 ground effects kit on your BMW". They just don't get it when I tell them it came like that from the factory.

I recently purchased my first 318ti, and this was driving my crazy! I kept getting ditracted on the road as I kept looking for controls to turn it off again ....

eventually I left the damn thing alone, and figured it might just stop on it's own and kept wishing that it would stop after I turn off the car

Sheppard AFB here in Wichita Falls, Texas, closed its Auto Hobby Shop to save money. I can think of several other things on base I would have closed before closing the shop. John USAF, Ret.

Two screws (Torx on mine), 1 screw is located at the base of the large handle. Another is hidden behind the power mirror switch (which just pops out). 10 pop off clips, then move the whole panel up to detach from clips at the interior window molding. Don't forget to disconnect the speakers and mirror switch!

Lower the window first. Using a prying tool with good leverage, start at lower, left hand corner of the panel. Then pry, using steady pressure. Don't be afraid of breaking anything. The plastic mounting parts glued to the panel may come off with the panel, but they can be successfully glued back, stronger, with JB Weld. Good luck! John

Ive gotta say, after owning my ti for 4 yrs now and tiring of its "issues" , that reading this thread has made me realize that they are just quirks that need to be dealt with on an otherwise great car.

Currently needing fixed..heater bowden cable, driver/passenger window regs, ignition barrel (screwdriver method stripped out..using a custom made round file with a t handle..lol), passenger door handle..outside is definitely in its last days... but then I look at the fact the car has almost 216k on it (95 Active)

All in, a few hundred $$ will make it good as new..cant beat it, and so fun to drive. Even more coming since I've decided to keep it now..

Misery loves company so keep posting guys!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
