Default M3 control arms

I was under my Ti yesterday replacing my brakes and noticed all the bushings and the rubber boots for the ball joints had pretty much perished. I have seen aluminum M3 Front Control arms on ebay with all the ball joints already installed.

Question is.. are they the same size as the control arms on our Tis?

Meyle's have steel ball joints vs OE BMW which has a weaker plastic ball joints.

While your doing control arms, do the bushings. OE BMW 95 are the best OE LCA in my opinion. Def better than the OE Ti's, but I am going to switch to Ground Control's LCAs in the near future I feel.

cool, that is what I wanted to do anyway. Just seemed easier to buy the control arms with the ball joints already attached. I also wanted to upgrade the other bushings too.

Meyle and M3 are different.

you can get ready to install Meyle arms w/ their balljoints from BavAuto at 99ea.

They def take the abuse better than oem.

so what is the difference between Meyle (never heard of em) and the M3. I just think the aluminum arms from the M3 would be great to lower suspension (unsprung) weight

M3 aluminum control arms need to be replaced every 2 years or 4 track events, per the manufacture.

Just thought you'd like to know.

I meant different by way they are made, not shape or anything. In terms of look and application they are the same.

Meyle makes rear shock mounts, control arms, control arm hardware(balljoints), Tie rods, Sway bar links, and I am sure more stuff than I am aware of.
