The part with the switches and knobs. heres a pic if u dont know what im talk about... i know there are like 4 screws that are behind the head unit. but the thing is that i have already taken it out before and it still didnt want to come out. I just want to replace the bulbs in there or replace them with LEDs. any ideas? | | | 08-20-2007, 02:59 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: N. Behind the knobs are some screws that your gonna have to take out, unless you plan on sliding out the entire unit, which could be a problem because there are wires and lines attached to it that aren't easily accessible. The three push buttons on the right hand side are their own unit, so they come out seperately. Thats as much as I know | | | 08-20-2007, 05:20 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: LA, Bellflower, CA Posts: 3,613 | yeah. i took out the H.U. b4 and the screws but it wouldnt move much still and i was afraid of breaking it. so i was hoping someone could let me know if i was missing something before taking it off.... if its not possible ill just leave it alone for now. | | | 08-20-2007, 07:47 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: state college, pa Posts: 3,431 | There are screws behind the two outer knobs, and clips on the bottom. I forget how it attaches though. Does anybody have a picture of it removed? That usually helps. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 10-13-2007, 08:12 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Anaheim, CA Posts: 125 | holy crap im having the same issue. i've tryed to pull out the center console, and im not having much luck with that... | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
