Does anyone have a kit or has a custom kit? Would it be worth getting a custom kit? | | | 09-29-2004, 05:55 AM | #2 | Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Vallejo, CA Posts: 47 | That would interest me as well. I would also like to know if it can be done when the car has had a DASC installed. There is a company called Unorthodox Racing , Inc in Deer Park NY tel 631.586.9525 Fax 631.586.2599. Advertising 3-series/M-Series/Z-series pulleys. Perhaps they could do custom as well. These two products from my knowledge normally don't go together. | | | 09-29-2004, 10:19 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2004 Location: Fort Collins, CO Posts: 290 | You could put udps on only the other accessories - water pump, p/s pump, alternator, and not affect the rpm of the blower. Only if you change the size of the blower pulley or crank pulley will it affect your boost. | | | 09-29-2004, 01:03 PM | #5 | Member Join Date: Oct 2003 Location: East Coast Posts: 89 | Quote: Originally Posted by RAiMA UDPs on supercharged cars would slow down the rotational rate of the supercharger and produce less boost. It seems like you got a horrible launch though. | | | 09-30-2004, 02:36 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2004 Location: Sydney, Australia Posts: 593 | Quote: Originally Posted by ClubSport332ti I love that video! It's so easy to wheel spin the car. | | | 09-30-2004, 07:42 AM | #7 | Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Vallejo, CA Posts: 47 | I think ClubSport has it from my understanding. Now, does anyone know of a supplier, or do we have to order custom? Also, would apropriate 6cyl pully for Bosh or Valeo alternator, depending on which one you have, work or are alternator pullys that different?
