hey guys, I've put alot of work into my TI so far restoring it, making it look good and all. Now I want performance. Any suggestions? A friend suggested a DINAN chip and said it would add up to 50 hp but im not sure what he knows lol. I want to do something to increase speed, but also have it sound nice. I have a k&N intake and a really nice sounding exhaust but I want more...I need more =X

None of the chip only solutions make 50hp. more like 10 or 12 at best. If you can find a SC kit (DASC search it...) you can be north of 200. Turbos are the highest output but its a roll your own world there...

as for lowering your car best bang for the buck is coilovers. supercharging or turbo is best bet... you can supercharge your car for cheaper than turbo if you know what your are doing and looking for... most of the cost will come from fabricating the engine bay
