A Turbo Button! Hmm.... the Germans are so smart. I guess the turbo is hidden when you open the hood and it magically appears when you close the hood and drive the car very hard. lol anyways, $600 for that car doesn't sound too bad, but it sounds like you can get it for $400 by negotiating. __________________ B.M.W. = Be My Wife | | | 05-04-2010, 04:32 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Gilbert Posts: 621 | yea, i always wondered what it was called too. id be all over it because i want a project car to mess with but the whole 4 door situation pushes me away. oh and its autotragic. i wouldnt want 2 auto bimmers... lol __________________ *IF ITS FAST AND CHEAP, ITS NOT RELIABLE* *IF ITS CHEAP AND RELIABLE, ITS NOT FAST* *IF ITS FAST AND RELIABLE, ITS NOT CHEAP* | | | 05-04-2010, 04:35 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Gilbert Posts: 621 | this one wouldnt be bad if i can get him down to like say 500? lol a fuel pump will be around 125ish.. and im sure id need to do a tune up since it hasnt ran.. only down side is no turbo button __________________ *IF ITS FAST AND CHEAP, ITS NOT RELIABLE* *IF ITS CHEAP AND RELIABLE, ITS NOT FAST* *IF ITS FAST AND RELIABLE, ITS NOT CHEAP* | | | 05-04-2010, 04:36 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2009 Location: Chicago, IL Posts: 181 | well, auto's are not That bad.....Sure stick shift is nice, but are you racing the car? Personally, there are only three reasons why stick shift is necessary: 1) Racing 2) Every guy, when he turns 16, needs to learn how to drive a stick shift 3) Prevents moron's or your blond girlfriend from driving your car without you Anyways, that car would be a nice project car. But the 318ti will grow jealous and start giving you trouble. __________________ B.M.W. = Be My Wife | | | 05-04-2010, 04:41 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Gilbert Posts: 621 | the car will be used for me to learn how to drift and for autocross events. i just want something manual and rwd to do either. __________________ *IF ITS FAST AND CHEAP, ITS NOT RELIABLE* *IF ITS CHEAP AND RELIABLE, ITS NOT FAST* *IF ITS FAST AND RELIABLE, ITS NOT CHEAP* | | | 05-04-2010, 05:12 AM | #7 | That's not Millpoint Blue Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: BNA Posts: 3,161 | ya gotta get a pic of that turbo button!!! __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH! Plenty of ways to learn on a auto. __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36.
