Default Thinking/Pondering outloud

For the last few months I've been thinking of doing a full body resto, adding completely new steering and suspension, and rebuilding the rearend. Interior would follow suite. Undecided on motor at this time. This may or may not happen. I'll collect the the non-body items throughout the year. I wouldn't activate the actual process till next year so anything could happen between now and then. This would give me the exact Ti I want but can't buy on the streets. Might be a pipe dream.

Totally awesome idea! Please take photos as you go along? Seeing transformations like this is kind of cool.

It's completely stock aside from the wheels I kept from the previous Ti. My biggest upfront cost is going to be paint and body work. I'll be working on that budget for the remainder of the year, since I know about what I'm planning to spend. The paint will remain a BMW color but outside the Ti color options, so the white will go. I will do appearance/interior upgrades, but everything (except the wheels) will be BMW derived from any of any of the series I feel will fit with the Ti aesthetically. This includes interior patterns, accessories both inside and outside, and colors. I've already got a simple scheme in my head, but I will let time and research do its thing before coming to a final decision.

I would get an M-tech bumper that came with the Club Sport. That would look cool.

IMO I would keep the white, your DS1s and the white go together nicely
