After driving about 200 miles on my new e30 rear end, it looks like grease is coming out from the bolts on the differential flanges...I don't see how this is possible... On one side the great is flung up all on the underside in a perfect circle around the flange. Any ideas??? Not the same as with yours,... yours looks to be comeing from where the flanges bolt together, which makes no sense. Sorry I cannot help, I just felt like talking. | | | 05-08-2009, 02:34 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Raleigh/Charlotte, NC Posts: 1,233 | Quote: Originally Posted by FMD Your output shaft seals are probably leaking. | that would make sense if it was coming out by the differential, but its comming out past the flange. __________________ -Jeff | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
